Butterfly Milk courses are designed to make learning enjoyable, and nurture the natural desire to use language as a gateway to learn more. We believe that when students find motivation from within, that is when true learning takes place.
All Butterfly Milk Original Series content and worksheets are made with lots of love, fully produced and illustrated in-house.
Through our heartfelt teaching approach and unique curriculum, students gain a keen sense of accomplishment that will carry them through school life and beyond.
Butterfly Milk RS CORE
RS Core is Butterfly Milk's introductory course for early English learners, teaching the basics for reading and speaking. Learners pick up core skills that are essential for progressing through to our higher levels.
For children who are just starting to learn English, the letters of the alphabet and their respective sounds are just the beginning. We coax children to use English to ask questions and speak confidently. Our incredibly unique curriculum is based on Rumbleby Stories, a Butterfly Milk Original Series that incorporates zany animal characters in a fun and silly world. Students learn how to read, speak in full sentences, and express their thoughts coherently.
Butterfly Milk READING PREP
Reading Prep builds foundational reading and writing skills through Butterfly Bay, an Original Butterfly Milk Series that utilises sight words, expands vocabulary, and teaches simple sentence structures through books and worksheets that envelop kids in the warmth and friendliness of a cosy seaside town.
After reading wholesome stories about relatable characters and everyday life, children are led to read and write short sentences. They learn how to string words together to produce full sentences that articulate their ideas and opinions, inspired by all that happens in Butterfly Bay.

Read ⬝ Explore ⬝ Progress
Butterfly Milk's REP courses aim to build a student's desire and ability to read and write, encouraging them to explore a wide range of different themes and cultures. We engage students with intriguing characters and topics that capture their imagination. Through various tasks and activities, students make progress and develop not just their familiarity with new vocabulary, sentence structures and idiomatic phrases, but also train soft skills that will aid them throughout their lives.
Butterfly Milk's REP courses are split into two groups: Intermediate and Advanced.
REP INTERMEDIATE
REP Intermediate entices learners through fables, fairytales and folktales from all over the world, while steadily adding more complexity to themes and plot structures with each level. Children learn the moral of each story, how narratives work, and how to critically break down character motivations.
After each book, students go through related worksheets full of logic puzzles and gorgeous illustrations. They encounter interesting scenarios that teach useful phrases as well as different soft skills, such as negotiation or a sense of humour.
REP ADVANCED
Students entering REP Advanced are now equipped to tackle more mature themes, characters and plots, as well as a greater complexity and variety of sentence structures and vocabulary. Many of the stories we read are abridged classics with historical or cultural contexts that challenge students to imagine and learn about a different place and era.
Our teachers help students at this level to primarily build up their critical and independent thinking. We produce worksheets that nudge our students towards making and owning their choices, to develop even more soft skills, and encourage their fledgling imagination to take flight.
Butterfly Milk TEENS
Our TEENS course covers multimedia material, involving content from books, games and films as well as entirely original content produced in-house by Butterfly Milk. Discourse plays a huge part in our TEENS classes. We engage in thought-provoking conversations, debate deeper themes and character motivations, and also embolden our students to express themselves with eloquence, flair and confidence. With us, teens are safe to develop their very own creativity and originality.
The content we cover for TEENS is more mature and complex, and does not shy away from themes and questions about philosophy, politics, religion, relationships, and self-identity.
